About this event

Friendships. Conflict. Competition. Teamwork. This adult-only forum opens a conversation of strategies to help children from K4-5th grade confidently and effectively navigate the growing social complexities of grade school life. We will discuss techniques to promote healthy peer interactions, problem-solving approaches, and engagement in activities that maximize performance for individuals and groups. We will also talk about how to encourage independent conflict resolution, as well as how to assist children struggling with more severe social difficulties. Additionally, we will touch on factors such as social media and screen activities, and discuss how to prepare young children to engage in healthy online interactions as they grow up.
